Q: What is the difference between "elements" and "principals" of art?
A: Elements- basic components of art-making. You can't have art without one of the seven elements of art. They are things that will help you complete those rules (principals)
Principals- Rules you have to follow, includes unity, harmony, contrast, emphasis, etc. They deal with the way the elements of art are composed.
